Yahtzee Rules
======================
Playing yahtzee is simple and lots of fun. Rengames allows you to play Yahtzee by yourself or up to 4 players at once. The rules to the game are very straight forward and will be explained below.
Introduction
-------------------
Yahtzee is played with 5 normal sided dice. The object of the game is to get the required values in each of the positions down the board. If you get 5 of a kind (5 dice all the same number), that is called a yahtzee and gives you 50 points. Further yahtzees are allowed if you can put it in a position thats legal, it also gives you a bonus of 100 points for each extra yahtzee you receive and place on the scoreboard. Each player has 3 rolls to get the position they are going for. This is classed as one turn, then the next player tries. After all players have 13 turns the game ends with the highest scoring winning the game.
Scoring
-------------------
Down the left side of the scoreboard are the titles for each position. These are explained below...
One: The total number of ones you rolled.
Two: The total number of twos you rolled.
Three: The total number of threes you rolled.
Four: The total number of fours you rolled.
Five: The total number of fives you rolled.
Six: The total number of sixes you rolled.
Total: The total of all the above results.
Bonus: If the total above is 63 or higher you receive 35 points bonus in this position.
Total: The total of the above with the bonus.
3Kind: Three dice matching the same number. All five dice are then added to make this score.
4Kind: As above but with four matching dice.
High: A 5 dice straight such as 1,2,3,4,5 or 2,3,4,5,6. (worth 40 points)
Low: As above but only requiring four dice in a straight. (worth 30 points)
House: When you roll three matching dice and two matching dice such as 5,5,5,1,1. (worth 25 points)
Chance: This position is used for anything, if you cannot make any other position. Consider it as a wild space.
Yahtzee: Used to hold the first five of a kind you get such as 4,4,4,4,4. (worth 50 points)
Bonus: Any further yahtzees you receive and able to place in a position is worth an extra 100 points each.
Other
-------------------
What is meant by extra yahtzees you can place in a position means for example, 1,1,1,1,1 could go in ones, 3Kind, 4Kind, House, Chance but could not go in High or Low or two through six as they do not match the positions requirement. You are not bound to using the yahtzee position if its available, however you will not receive 100 points until the yahtzee is filled first.
In some cases you may find that you are unable to place your score anywhere. What happens here is you can click any position and the game will automatically ask you if you wish to cross it off. Clicking OK will place a 0 in this position and you will be unable to use that position again during the game.
